Scheduled every year, this day aims to bring to the international agenda the importance of empowering girls and young women and their participation in these scientific areas. This is an initiative promoted by the United Nations Specialized Agency for ICT (International Telecommunications Union \u2013 ITU) founded in 1985.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Instituto Superior T\u00e9cnico will join this initiative with the presentation of the <a href=\"https:\/\/m.facebook.com\/GirlStemISTTaguspark\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GirlStem@ISTTaguspark<\/a> project.
