Lesson 12.4 Aid: What happens after Friday — alumni pathways

When the Heroine Circle closes, here is what happens next — plainly and concretely.

Within 7 days. Your tutor sends a personal note naming one specific thing they will remember about your work. Save it. Reread it on a hard day next year.

Within 14 days. Your Europass micro-credential is issued and lands in your nominated wallet (Europass Wallet by default). The credential is verifiable by any future employer or higher-education institution.

Within 30 days. The SPHERE alumni invitation arrives — an opt-in form for the SPHERE Alumni Network. Three tiers, any combination (or none):

Tier 1 — Reader. Quarterly newsletter + annual cohort reunion invitation. No commitments. ~10 minutes per quarter.
Tier 2 — Mentor. ~2 hours/month supporting next-cohort learners in the BuddyPress forums. Modest honorarium (€300/year) for active mentors.
Tier 3 — Ambassador. Represent SPHERE at school open days and education fairs. Travel covered. ~4 events per year.

You may decline all three. Many do, and that is honourable. The journey was its own destination.

Within 90 days. Your STEM School Label dossier is reviewed. If your school’s leadership has confirmed that one or more proposed changes will be piloted, the school is awarded the STEM School Label certificate at one of three levels: Aspiring, Implementing, or Established. Your name is recorded as the proposing learner.

Within 6 months. Your Stage 10 SMART goal hits its checkpoint. If you have done your weekly self-reviews, you will know whether you reached the goal — and what you learned in trying.

Within 1 year. The SPHERE WP4 evaluation report (cohort-level, anonymised) is published, including findings from the post-survey you submitted in Lesson 12.2.
💡 Bella’s tip: The end of a journey is not the end of accountability. It is the moment you start being accountable to yourself, with witnesses you have chosen. That is freedom — and it is also the only kind of accountability that lasts.
