The final reflection is 2,000–2,500 words in your strongest written language (English encouraged but not required; if you write in another language, attach a 400-word English summary). It is the document that closes your SPHERE Learning Journey for the credential committee — but more importantly, it is the document you will reread in years to come.
The structure (use it as a guide; deviate where deviation serves the truth):
Section 1 — Where I started (≈400 words).
Return to your Stage 1 self. What did you write in your first forum post? What did you not yet know about yourself? What were you afraid of, and what were you proud of?
Section 2 — The three moments that changed something (≈600 words).
Choose three specific moments from the 12 stages — not the obvious milestones, but the ones that actually moved you. The 3:00am at Alqueva. The principal’s no. The conversation in Arabic with your grandmother. The graph that didn’t survive verification. Tell each in 200 words: what happened, what you felt, what you understand differently now.
Section 3 — What I have built that I did not have (≈400 words).
A specific inventory. Not “I learned a lot”. Specific. The Mini-Lab Toolkit. The Verification Protocol. The 90-second defence muscle. The weekly self-review habit. The dossier in your principal’s inbox. Your 12 badges. Your cohort.
Section 4 — What I am still figuring out (≈300 words).
The honest paragraph. The thing you still find hard. The disposition you have not yet developed. The ally you have not yet found. The next discomfort you suspect you will need to walk into.
Section 5 — What I will do next (≈300 words).
Concrete. Time-bound. Witnessed. Your Stage 10 SMART goal lives here, and so does the next thing after it.
ℹ️ The post-survey (embedded after submission) measures the same constructs as the Stage 1 pre-survey — DigCompEdu items plus HLJ identity scale — so the SPHERE research team can measure cohort-level shifts. Your individual responses are anonymised at cohort level.
⚠️ GDPR note. The reflection is yours — your personal property. You may publish it, share it, or keep it private. The SPHERE programme retains a copy only with your explicit consent (a tick-box in the submission form). The Europass micro-credential issuance does not require you to share the reflection’s content.
📝 Activity: (1) Submit your final reflection (2,000–2,500 words) via the form below. (2) Complete the embedded post-survey (~12 minutes). (3) Tick the Europass-issuance consent box. Within 14 days, your Europass micro-credential will arrive in your nominated wallet.
